Annotation Text

Enter the text that should appear on the exported PDF.

Annotation text can be fixed text or dynamic property values.

Note

In the PDM task, the menu includes variables configured in SOLIDWORKS PDM. In the SOLIDWORKS add-in, it includes SOLIDWORKS custom properties and supported values from the active document.

Use dynamic values when the annotation should include information such as part number, revision, project, customer, state, or other document metadata available to the current product.
